Installing nitoTV from your iPhone!!

NitoTV is one of the most exciting things about Jailbreaking your Apple TV. It's kind of the Cydia store of the Apple TV. Since there has been a lot of attention on the latest Jailbreak "Evasi0n" by the Evad3rs, I wanted to take a moment and show you guys how to put nitoTV from your newly jailbroken iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch.


If you have your Apple TV already jailbroken then follow the steps below. On the other hand if you don't have it Jailbroken, then you should check the Seas0npass website to jailbreak your Apple TV before applying this steps.

Also if you haven't jailbreak your iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch please head to Evasi0n and if you have futher question go to Jailbreakqa.

Step One

Download nitoTV Installer from Cydia. Just search for it and you should find it very easily. It's hosted by thebigboss repo.



Step Two

Make sure that your Apple TV and your iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch are in the same Wifi connection.

Step Three

Launch nitoTV Installer from your iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch and look for your Apple TV.



Step Four

As soon as your Apple TV is recognize, install nitoTV from the Installer on your iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch. DONE




Although you can install XBMC directly from your  nitoTV in your TV, you can also install XBMC from your iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch using nitoTV installer to your Apple TV.

There is also a nitoTV Installer version for Mac and Windows that don't required an iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch to be jailbroken.

Note: In order to install anything from the NitoTV Installer, you will need your SSH password. If you haven't change the default password then it should be "frontrow" if you change it then use your password. You should always change your SSH password for security purposes when you jailbreak any device.
